Ultimately I don't think Gen 9 will actually be affected by the risks this game took since this game was clearly rushed out so they could also shit out Gen 9 in 2022. Retards have been saying "this game feels like a step in the right direction for the series" since XY but this is the first game that actually fits the bill, it's just a shame it likely won't make much of an impact.
