Looks like PLA was made by the B-Team at Gamefreak and the A-Team is working on Gen 9. Only 38 more days till the reveal and hype season starts in June. Gamefreak literally said "fuck sinnoh let the lower class make it". I guess PLA was a small project sadly and BDSP aswell.

Hopefully Ohmori delivers this year, this is his last chance imo.

Actually makes sense which is why they farmed out BDSP to ILCA. The B team was working on PLA while the A team works on Pokemon Stars aka the Gen 7 sequel.

When Gen 9 ends up being the eventual disappointment it's expected to be, you'll go back to hyping up the next release, and then the next one, followed by the one after. It's an endless cycle of disappointment and consumerism that you can detach yourself from at anytime, but keep choosing to lynch you from your time and funds because it has the Pokemon label slapped onto it. Grow up and stop beating a dead horse.

This is unironically true. Masuda is just a supervisor, Turner isn't involved at all. Iwao is the director.

The sad part is that the B team actually makes better games than the A team.
