>>49366816I don't think all the megas to just become normal evolutions, but I do think that Megas should return. It's crazy to me they would bother to buff pokémon like absol or mawile and then pretty much ditch them to the gutter a few generations later. Meanwhile they make sure a Pokemon like Charizard consistently gets new forms to match the new mechanics, they keep bringing back regional forms like alolan Ninetales because they are popular, and they keep buffing already powerful Pokemon with new moves. All absol wanted was to be on somebody's team. Why did they have to remove Megas? I'm sure there was a way they could have worked it out that they could still exist without superseding whatever other gimmicks they had.
