I'm gonna say it. PLA is one of the comfiest Pokemon game ever made, it rivals PMD series in terms of comfiness.

The music, the survey corps, the village you live in, the way capturing Pokemon looks.
If Gamefreak can take what works from PLA and apply it to their future mainline games we will finally have a franchise that deserves its popularity.
