Is the best strategy for time-space rifts to just crouch in some grass and spam balls as stuff spawns? That feels like that is the best way to not get raped by triple battles but you'll miss out on the rare pokemon.
Otherwise, it seems like you just need to get good at menu management to spam sticky balls at the pokemon you want to catch and dodge everything trying to target you.

Im not sure, I got it pretty late because he won´t get an icon above his head, so you have to talk him to trigger the scene were Wurmple evolves. After that wait until he have an icon above his head to talk to him and get the mission request.

its behind one of the tents, clinging to the top. i dont recall which one but its a bit tricky to find, i spent a good 10 minutes looking for it

Also, what the fuck is up with some of the distortion gimmicks? Gamefreak must really hate people that want to complete the pokedex.

I'm not talking about 100%, I'm talking about the 10 points needed to complete the entry. I can use ancient power 25 times and evolve it, but I'm capped at 9 points unless I find a second shieldon distortion.
Have people figured out what triggers arceus / azure flute yet? Is it seeing all pokemon, catching all pokemon, completing the pokedex, or something lesser?

when the FUCK do I get better balls? poke balls are nearly useless in the second aeea and i have to heavy ball backstrike all of the interesting mons. AND that doesnt even work for alpha mons, so i literally cant catch any aside from spamming like 20 poke balls.

any tips for catching alphas early on? i burned through almost 200 balls trying to get krikitune and parasect. I tried making sure they were eating too but nothing so far.
Even used about 50 heavy balls.

Which of the new pokemon forms/evolution requires an alternative method of evolution? Just want to avoid a Yamask situation as I gen8 (there was an idea that to evolve basculin you needed to have 2 in the team and 1 had to die before release, imo). Also thanks to that anon who said scyther evolves using a stone, was about to go half the game without it

I like 4 sticky globs into a leaden ball backstab. Expensive, but a pretty good chance. You can always just try tossing a great/ultra ball first since you no longer care about stealth.
This might not work against distortion alphas, had a drifblim that despawned before I could stun it.

How to find Pichu and Munchlax?
Also, the Icy Rock and the Moss Rock are both in the game. If you get close to them Eevee will be able to evolve. I still don't know if the Leaf Stone and the Ice Stone can also evolve him.

Alpha Pokemon can generally push your shit in if you're weak to them, and they tend to have pretty good coverage. At the very least you should have access to Paralysis/Drowsy. Otherwise balance isn't super important until the very end.

for anyone that wants a togetic early-ish in the game, i found one that was sort of hard to see: you can find one flying up above the patch of petilil in the cottonsedge prairie of the crimson mirelurk. its super high up in the air and very tiny, but if you can get up onto the hill with your wyrdeer, you can nab it with a feather/wing ball

It's really not worthwhile to spend money on materials you can easily farm. The only good source of a lot of money at once is doing surveys, which aren't sustainable. Outside of that you need to sell treasure, which is relatively hard to find. You get some from sidequests but most of the time you'll get it from digging with Ursaluna or finding it in... tumblestone deposits.

tl;dr just go get the tumblestone yourself and save your money

This, I want to know learnsets and base damage for the new pokemin as well as the old, a lot has changed. Iirc Samurott has better coverage with its two stabs and its a little better resistance wise however Decidueye resist rock/ground combos which usually shits on almost everything else, as well as having flying moves which actually give it amazing coverage with fighting. I'm going with the bird because the of lack of changes for Sam, and the fact it goes better with the other pokemon I want to use. I'm mad that its so slow though, all I want to know is if it has some reasons to use it over Lilligant...

Am I missing something? I just got a semi-transparent bubble and there weren't any rare items or rare/powerful pokemon in it like the tutorial said there would be.

It spawns and then takes like 3 minutes for it too actually start, just keep waiting. You can tell the progress of it starting because there is a smaller circle on the icon of it on the map that increases over time
