Do you think for Q4 2022, we will get a spin-off game? I mean, we got Super Mystery Dungeon and Mystery Dungeon DX for 2015 and 2020, respectively. Also, Nintendo’s stacked this year. They’ll have BotW2 this year no less. If we were to get Gen 9, it will be early 2023 at least.

i don't think they'd want to gimp Gen 9 by putting it out in the same year as Legends. It'll do great regardless, but putting it next to the new Zelda and in the same year as the most ambitious Pokemon game to date, it doesn't make sense to me.

I honestly have no clue what it'll be, leaning on Legends DLC or MAYBE LG Johto (doubt it tho, since Legends was a B team game) I wouldn't be surprised if it was a spinoff, but I would be surprised if it was a spinoff that wasn't Detective Pikachu 2, Pokken 2, or Mystery Dungeon Explorers DX. What else would they do?
