A rock monotype benefits a lot from stuff like cradily, ground immunities, sandstorm, and general chekcs to the types rock is bad against
An ice monotype can have one water type with thick fat to deal with fire types, hail+aurora veil support, and lean torwards being more hyper offensive
Electric monotype would just need a ground immunity along a bit of variety
