Frostbite sucks, it's just Burn but Ice. Freeze is more mechanically unique and also more intuitive in terms of what one would expect an Ice attack to do.
It makes sense that they had to switch out freeze for frostbite to fit with Legends' mechanics, but it should never stick for the main series.

freeze is bullshit. nobody likes winning pvp by freezing the opponent. and nobody likes losing by being frozen. it adds more bullshit to battle facilities where you can instantly lose because of a 1/10 roll. its an archaic mechanic

Drowsy should be added in addition to Sleep, with most things now changed to Drowsy instead of Sleep making Sleep rarer in general. It'd be like a Poison and Badly Poisoned situation.

Nah Sleep should just be gone. It never made sense that a Pokemon thats sleeping in battle can stay asleep while being attacked. Drowsy makes more sense logically and is better from a game balance standpoint.

no, Frozen is way better, and Burn should be replaced with Immolated, where the Pokemon is unable to act due to being completely engulfed in flames for a few turns or until hit by a damaging Water move.

He's right. PLA opened my eyes. Gens 3-8 are the exact same thing. You can genwar and shitpost about trivialities like how long routes are, or how many battle facilities there are, but it doesn't change the fact that they are all the exact same beat 8 bosses for a badge to fight an elite 4 and champion while fighting evil teams and a rival game. They just have slightly better online features each time.

Just because gens 1-8 are the same doesn't mean this glorified turd that just plays differently is worth of any praise.
