What's the point of catching pokemons if there is nothing to do with them? You don't have enough trainers for team building to matter, you can bypass pokemon battles in boss fights, you don't even have what was already barebones activities in previous games like contests or camping. What did I say that was bait? Volo is just one trainer. Completing the dex in PLA is fast as ever considering how easy it is to catch and evolve Pokemon, only 250 of them. Arceus is useless since there is nothing in the game to challenge her with.
