What the fuck the impossible has happened. A modern pokemon game is... pretty good? I'm really enjoying it so far.

I mean don't get me wrong the graphics are far below the standard they should be, but the game itself is pretty solid, and shows what a modern pokemon game could be. There is incentive to catch pokemon multiple times with the gradual pokedex thing, crafting is something the series has needed for a while, evolution is an optional thing, moves can be sorted in your own time, changes to the battle system are small, but with a few tweaks could revolutionize the way battles are fought without losing the identity (Smogon will hate it and can fuck off)

Can't wait for Masuda to be salty as fuck his lack of involvement probably lead to this and literally none of it to be implemented into the next mainline games lol.
