I love how the battles look in this game. The proper scaling, the battles taking place naturally in the overworld, the fast snappy animations, it's all kino as fuck. If gen 9 is remotely like this I'll be very happy.

Not them but I'd assume it's genuine because it's all just correct. The snappy animations can look janky at times but besides that the battles look pretty nice and they're super well paced compared to any other game in the series. It's one of the things PLA does best.

There's less Pokemon to catch, less trainers to fight, and less things to do compared to every other Pokemon game.

Don't be a shill faggot, anon. The capturing and battling wild Pokemon is fun but outside of that there isn't much to do. It's clear the research tasks and requiring a full dex for Arceus is only because they needed to pad out the game.

I would love if these Battles became standard. Though I wonder how that would impact 2v2, 3v3, etc. Assuming that any of those systems even come back...

and max out your survey corps rank
and do the time trial/boss rush of the Wardens
and refight the trainers at Ingo's Dojo
And catch Manaphy, ( and Darkrai/Shaymin depending on the data you have)
And collect all of the Unown shapes

Yeah it's fun too bad there isn't much content to do. Once you complete the dex and get Arceus it's just "catch 15 bidoofs" research tasks. Shame. This game would've been good if it had a battle facility or roaming trainers with 6 pokemon teams.

The ultimate happy medium for me would be camera movements like traditional Pokemon when in safe, sanctioned trainer battles and PLA style when facing wild Pokemon.
