The boss battles are utter shit too, they made it to where you're better off spamming piss bags at them instead of actually just battling them with a Pokemon.

Also, there's no battle facility. Ingo lets you rebattle wardens but that's it. Once you beat the game you do research tasks (15 bidoofs) or complete the dex for an underwhelming encounter with Arceus.

I feel like neither side won entirely.
The game is fun and also feels unfinished.

It's objectively not a good game but Pokemon fans were so mindbroken by SWSH that they feel the need to accept it.

The combat system is good but it's wasted on stupid boss fights like this. The only thing that should be carried over to Gen 9 is the combat system.

The base is good, the exploration to battle transitions are great.
Semi open world areas are good too but needs to be done…better.
This game is set in a time where people are just settling in, i want to see what they do with maybe a gen 5 remake.
