Anyone else enjoying BDSP? I've been playing SP since it came out and am still having fun hunting in the underground and making teams for the battle tower.
Just curious if there are others on VP enjoying them too despite all the hate.

I would have to disagree. I never really got into SwSh and found Sun and Moon a little lacking. BDSP takes one of my favorite games in the series and gives it some quality improvements. That's all I want from a remake.

I would want a remake not to be worse than Platinum and sadly it was way worse, with a repulsive art style to top it all off so yeah, it's way worse than SwSh or SM

No ones forcing you to buy it, play it, or post here. Sure there are arguments for having it be platinum based story instead, but it surpasses original platinum in several ways too.
It looks better than swsh and it's n64 trees, copypaste clouds, and wonky water reflections.
And the cutscenes, linearity, and lack of real dungeons ruined both swsh and sm for me. Sorry friend, I guess our opinions are just different.

You asked me if I was enjoying BDSP. I got gifted BD and found it to be the worst game in the series, and also the worst looking one.

Based. BDSP is one of the best classic pokemon experiences I've had in a long time. Let the unovabortions weep over their genies not being in it.

This game has one of the healthiest multiplayer metas in a looooooong time. Vp is just more vocal about what they hate. The people who enjoy it are too busy playing to respond to their bullshit

BDSP is a much better Pokemon game than PL:A and it's really sad that some people don't agree with this.

BDSP and LGPE are my 2 favourite games in the 3D era. They feel like classic Pokemon, with a fresh coat of paint.

Unlike these other nu-gen games.

I'm sorry but no. I'm not enjoying it anymore.
I was really hyped for it and then it released and it just didn't give me the same feeling that a remake like HGSS or ORAS did. The whole reason that pokemon remakes were good was because they offered something fresh such as cleaner updated character designs and whatnot - the remakes felt like reinvigorated, slightly updated versions, conceptually and in gameplay. BDSP barely does that sort of thing, it actually is a near 100% replica of DP. And given that PLA is releasing so soon and reinvents sinnoh and a lot of gen 4 characters so radically, I really don't get why I should care about the gen 4 remakes anymore.

I could just play platinum and have the exact same experience as BDSP. I cannot say that for ruby/saphire and ORAS or gold/silver and HGSS. It's sad and disappointing, there is a reason BDSP will be forgotten and HGSS won't.
