Since we got our Genbu/Black Turtle Pokemon in the form of Enamorus in order to fill out the Four Cardinal Beasts, who the hell is the equivalent for the Yellow Dragon of the Center/Kohryu/Huang Long? A super duper Genie? Arceus? The Original Dragon?

Can someone tell more about the original dragon? What i've seen on jap media are only the 4 cardenal guardians and that they represent the 4 elements. Probably this is more appealing on the original chinese history

I wouldn't have a problem with them reconnecting Arceus or Necrozma as the leader of the kamis.

Maybe add a new form to make it more obvious

Basically, an uber powerful dragon crashed in Unova thousands of years ago. It served a king and helped him made a powerful king, all was alright with that.
Shit got fucked when two brothers had differing views of how the future should go. This caused the OG Dragon to split in two as Zekrom and Reshiram to reflect the views of said brothers. Kyurem is the husk of the Original Dragon, left without any energy inside of it at all.
It ties into a ton of stuff, like alchemy and how the Original Dragon is basically a living Philosopher's Stone, Taoism, and there's even some theories out there that it's the Yellow Dragon to the Cardinal Beasts of the Genies, as well as possibly being a fourth member of the Creation Trio.

They represent the 5 elements in the Chinese Wuxing system. Whenever there's a duality, or something like 4 directions, Earth represents the center, the middle, the balance:
Azure Dragon : East, Spring, Dawn, Green, Wood
Vermilion Bird: South, Summer, Midday, Red, Fire
White Tiger: West, Autumn, Dusk, White, Metal
Black Tortoise: North, Winter, Midnight, Black, Water
Yellow Dragon: Central, Midsummer, Yellow, Earth

Thanks mates, but i don't know if japs will incorporate the yellow Dragon cuz i've never seen him in other medias, if the does so, probably there will be a lore that you need the other 4 and it will be something like regigigas's lore

Japan traditionally used the usually Earth/Wind/Fire/Water system most cultures develop, with Void/Sky/Aether acting as the quintessence. So most Japanese media uses that system. When they're referencing Chinese lore specifically, they go with the Wuxing, for example in Digimon. There's a few Pokemon here and there based on Chinese lore, but I don't think they use the Wuxing anywhere.

Chinese mythology also had the concept of the Four Benevolent Animals, which were the Fenghuang (Chinese Phoenix, Ho-Oh in Pokemon), the Spirit Tortoise, the Yinglong (Responding Dragon), and the Qilin/Kirin. In Japan, as they tried to formfit those things together, they became associated with the Vermillion Bird, Black Tortoise, Azure Dragon and Yellow Dragon, respectively. Sometimes the Yinglong was associated with the Yellow Dragon though, and the Qilin took the place of the Black Tiger.

Mashing two mythologies together like that can be messy, and as a result, the Qilin is sometimes considered to take the place of the Yellow Dragon when looking retrospectively at the Chinese system.
