actually anon the world feels alive, there’s so much to do, and I’ve never been so immersed in a Pokémon game. I’ve also never felt so vulnerable in a Pokémon game.

This game could easily be the foundation for everything we’ve ever wanted a Pokémon game to be.

Is it perfect? Of course not, it’s their first attempt. But if they use this as the basis for all future games, I’d be very happy. I’d be happy if they at least use it for the future remakes.

I really hope this isn’t a one and done thing like Let’s Go was.

Trainer count's irrelevant, I can battle as much as I want and always have been able to, I don't need a useless NPC standing around to do it, especially when wild encounters have more powerful options to fight plus it's piss easy to pick fights with entire swarms.

It replaces abilities and held items with strong and agile styles which opponents can use to easily take you out unlike abilities and held items.
It gets rid of breeding because no one likes it. and injects anyway
It has one town functioning as a hub world which is all it really needs, as most cities are just filler areas you visit once for the gym and practically never come back.
It has level design with the new wide areas, but you're a Gamefreak bootlicker for your childhood games so you think connecting hallways is the peak of level design.
And it incentives Pokedex completion.
So yeah it is objectively better.

But they have. Breeding has been receiving QoL ever since gen 6.
Also post PLA's budget since you seem so aware on how this franchise is managing its money.
