Are any of the new Pokémon added in Legends: Arceus already new favorites of yours?

Hisuian Braviary is a strong contender for my top favorite now. The design, inspiration, and moves are great, even if the stats aren’t as optimized as I’d hoped. Looking forward to using it ingame. Ursaluna is up there for me, too.

Hisuian Growlithe easily. Arcanine is my absolute favorite Pokemon. Honestly it was the hook for me to get into Pokemon in the first place. Every since regional variants was a thing I wanted an Arcanine variant ever since. The absolute joy I felt when I saw Hisuian Growlithe was honestly on par with the joy of playing Pokemon for the first time as a kid. While I like Hisuian Arcanine I still like the OG more but the excitement I feel for PLA has been missing from Pokemon games for a long time for me. As someone who owns almost no merchandise outside of the games themselves I plan on snagging as much Hisuian Growlithe stuff as I can.

Vanilla Braviary’s overly murica flavor is not my favorite even though I was happy to see a true eagle Pokémon when Gen V came out. Repurposing that base design to create a Steller’s Sea-Eagle inspired Pokémon for the game based on ancient Hokkaido, even going as far as to explain that Hisuian Braviary migrates in from the north in winter just like its real life analog does, was an awesome choice.

I fucking love so many of the Arceus designs that I'd just end up listing half of them. Admittedly, that's because most are related to designs I already loved, but god damn is this a hit batch of new mons.

I’m thrilled to see a bear finally break out of the “just OK 2-stage evolution line” curse that has plagued every vaguely ursine Pokémon since the beginning. Finally we’ve got a third stage bear with some power to throw around!

Only ones that really stick out to me are Growlithe and Basculegion. I generally like the new line-up, but at the same time it's not sticking particularly hard with me.
