>>49407439>>49407446Absolutely 100% yes. I highly doubt it would ever happen, but this sounds like a best-case scenario. A permanent and frequently updated battle simulator included as part of Home, including PvP, and maybe even features such as in-simulator team building effects such as adjusting IVs, EVs, abilities, and moves that are simply removed if the Pokemon is transferred to a "real" game. It would also give VGC a permanent home on Home, and lower the barrier for entry - totally removing any need for injecting. Not only that, but with every single Pokemon being usable in battle within Home, Dexit wouldn't even be hardly noticed. Win, win, wins all around. It's insane to me they haven't already done this, but I wish they would ASAP.
>>49407456This, too. They would finally stop treating online PvP as post-game and would have to make better single player post-game content to keep the games replayable.
>>49407475>>49407703>ShowdownI like it as much as the next guy, but Showdown is:
>unofficial, fanmade>cannot be used for official VGC>not comparable to what would be an officially sanctioned, frequently updated, permanent home for VGC and all of your Pokemon simultaneously>>49407669>No there isn't a feasible way to do this. You're joking, right? This could be nothing more than a side-project and still come out well.
>do you add Dynamax or not?>learnset restrictions?A neat selection of format options. Just like Showdown does well with a few fans running it for free.
>>49407669>What if a mon isn't in that gen?Every mon is in Home. It would always be NatDex. And it would be as simple as minor edits made directly to Home to adjust learnsets to fit the format. Make moves/stats/abilities changeable within the app, and just revert them to what they were originally if moved to a mainline game.
>>49407746>>49407804Based, except I see no reason they couldn't include all of those features (04 post) as format options
