Think back to your childhood, when you were around the age of a typical Pokemon protagonist, and remember:

>the region and biome you used to, or still, live in

Don’t think of your favorite pokemon, think of what you would’ve most likely taken as a 10-12 year old child. I personally would’ve taken Scorbunny as a starter since I used to be crazy about football, even though I don’t care about it now.
