So it's basically DVs from Gens 1/2, with a lower cap and no IVs to fuck things over? Sounds pretty based to me.

How do you obtain Grit items? Are they plentiful or pretty rare?

Just fight alpha pokémon, and do some subquests. There is also a npc that trade low-level grits for high-level ones.

IVs being gone is based, I don't like EVs being maxed out in every stat like gen 2 though, stall will get even worse
