This isn't to defend it, but you're exaggerating the issue here. You still get to bring 90% of your Pokémon to Galar or Sinnoh (again). You can be mad about the logic and the reasons given for the dexit, but unless you are upset about Greninja, elemental monkeys & Gumshoos most people's favorites are back and they can carry over the Pokémon they made their emotional connections to, seeing them in HD, interacting with them & giving them new ribbons.
I can deal with Bruxish being locked to the cloud for now.
