No you retard the game is hard coded to use 30 FPS as it's logic, that means if you go over 30 it speeds up. It would literally take decompiling the entire game and retooling the entire code to fix it so fucking stop asking

Could anyone emulating on PC that has gotten to the post-game give me their save?

Download the latest driver/software installer from AMD site. Drivers are semi-universal and a lot of fixes will just apply to all cards within a certain time range even if it's not officially supported any more. My GPU is nine years old and the latest drivers are from like four months ago.

My GPU is a Radeon HD 7850. The most recent driver Adrenaline will download is from May 2021. Unless Yuzu somehow saves my ass, I think I'm out of luck. Shame, SwSh runs decently enough, although I have to either accept shit performance on openGL in larger areas or accept random crashes in Vulkan now and then.

You can always just wait for Yuzu to mature, even if it takes years.
I remember back at release I couldn't run SwSh AT ALL with an FX-8320E and 8GB RAM, and last year I was able to pull it off decently enough (locked 30fps in interiors and battles, but obviously lower in open areas and out-right crashes in the Island of Armor).

Did they address the cave being fucked up? It's nothing bad, just annoying to see while traversing them. there aren't many, and not all are bugged, so it's less of a problem and more of a nuisance

Freezes.
Something in jubifile causes the emulator to crash. For the impatient you have the latest Ryujinx and the latest yuzu early access builds.
You play yuzu in the wilds and its' basically 100% working. Then when you need to promote or report in after beating a boss, you switch to ryujinx and just deal with not having models while you go through dialogue.
Or you could just wait for either to iron out the bugs to where you can just play it all on one.

I've got a folder of half a dozen Ryujinx builds from the last few days (including this one) and they have varying results but nothing gets me past the first load. I'm not terribly worried about it but I'm keeping an eye on it anyway.

You can use either, Vulkan properly renders the world better than OpenGL, the water shaders are higher res and the broken lighting in the couple of tunnels there are is fixed on Vulkan but it's got a weird issue with locale names and styles that can actually crash Ryujinx so yeah OpenGl's more stable lol

neither, both emulators have their strengths and weaknesses with certain games. though in the context of PLA ryujinx is concretely better since yuzu requires you to spam F4 when the game freezes unless it's been fixed in the past day or two.

Ryujinx.
Yuzu freezes constantly (can be solved by spamming F4 but it's very fucking annoying) and is prone to crashing, Ryujinx works. It just performs worse if you don't have good enough hardware.

Games runs smoothly on Ryu, great textures except for very random crashes when I’m in the wild areas, no idea why they still occurs… Anyone managed to get no more crashes ? Or at least understand what is the specific trigger…

Crashes are more spaced when I desactivate Vsync but the game plays at speed x2 which is not the best experience.

okay I've got the game running no problem... but it won't load the controller profile I set up for it no matter what. it saves the profile as I made it, remembers the profile, I X out and when I check if it's still there player one has reverted to keyboard and isn't using the profile.

1.1.8 shows more effects like fog in area 2 and somewhat crispier graphics, but is a bit more stuttery and slightly lower fps. Also it seems to be much more unstable and crashes in area 2 even in menu

so far 1.1.5 seems to work the smoothest, no crashes in constant 10h gameplay except in village, and usually when the camera faces the mid of the area

They're random, but you have to stay in the area. Every time you change maps or load a save the timer is reset. the fact you didn't see any in 25 hours of playtime tells me you're constantly changing zones or restarting your game.

Not sure about Cherrim, but its pre-evolved form Cherubi seems to only be found by knocking them out of shaking tress in The Heartwood. No idea if Seedot/Nuzleaf/Shifty are even in PLA, but I do know that Litwick is not. That's 5th gen/Black & White. You'll definitely see them when Game Freak inevitably remakes Pokémon Black and White, though.

because when i was fighting arceus it was lagging like fuck and i had to do the fight a few times because it was loading his moves, i don't want others to have this problem

Using cheat engine speedhack & setting the speed to 0.6 fixes that. The guide I followed recommended 0.5 but that still feels too slow & 0.7 is too snappy. It’s the optimal speed to make the game speed match the framerate.

Yeah, I get 60 FPS constant. Also, use nvidia control panel to max out all your shit like AA and so on. Doesn't hurt frame rate much because we're CPU bound.

amd or nvida? could try opengl just to get past that scene if you're on nvidia. otherwise you can try changing settings like turning off backend multithreading or clearing the shader and pptc caches. if you're at 2x resolution or higher you could also try setting the resolution back to 1x and/or handheld. might be the vram filling up and crashing ryujinx if you're at a higher resolution and that scene just happens to be taxing. just throwing ideas out there since no one has reported this crash yet afaik.

Are apex pokemon functionally any different from normal ones once caught?
Aside thigns you can just achieve anyways like the higher starter ELs and mastered moves

PS2 looking ones are native Switch resolution. On Ryujinx you can change resolution to 4k and it upgrades to looking like a PS3 game. I'm playing at 4k on a 1080p screen and there's no impact to performance.

also it's probably a good idea to clear the pptc cache if it still wants to crash on startup and make sure you're using the latest vulkan build

and depending on your card, it may crash instantly if the rendering resolution is set too high for your card to handle. vulkan crashes immediately for me on 4x on my RX 570 for example.

That's a online feature apparently. You pick up other fallen players' satchels to return it to them and vice versa. So if you're playing offline/no subscription/emulator you're sol I think.

Is there a way to do this without downloading the other games?
I have no interest in playing them and don't want to download 15GB+ of useless data.

not sure anon, you can give it a try if you want. you could try following ryujinx's names for saves and put them in.
pic related is how the saves are stored (each digit is a separate game) you could try creating the manually following their naming pattern and then putting the saves in
here are the saves, look in here "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ryujinx\bis\user\save" and try what i said

Yeah I was looking into just dropping in saves, but I assumed the emulator would look for them using the game's ID. Instead, it seems to store saves in numbered folders based on when they were installed (1-8 in your case).
I thought that might cause a problem, but thinking about it now, it might not matter. The game probably doesn't know which folder to look for, so it might just scan all of them.

Is there a way to change ryujinx hotkeys?
I don't know why, but after 35 hours of playing this, it has randomly decided that the enter key is actually the fullscreen hotkey, except the enter key is my fuckin Y button.
