The back up mons are fucking shit. I'm facing against a level 42 skuntank that is accompanied by two shitmons that die in a single neutral hit because they're 20 levels below for some reason. LPA battles are extremely dumbed down compared to the mainline games due to no abilities, held items and atrocious barebones move pools. The battles at the start are as bland as the ones that come afterwards
