PLA says all Pokémon have the ability to shrink, and Poke Balls only exist because of that.
People, mostly animefags, can’t accept this because of their headcanon despite the shrinking always being a thing and even shown in outside game material like PokeSpe.

And when did he say this, and to what extent did he mean? Because nowadays both GF and TPC are adamant that the game world and anime world are one in the same fundamentally. They're separate continuities, yes, but they share the same fundamental world because of how much the brand wants to make sure it's consistent in how it presents itself across all media.
