I see everyone praising and loving PLA and everything around it. Even calling it a GOTY or best Pokémon game ever...
But I just can't. For me:
>It has the longest tutorial at the beginning. And lots of dialogues.
>Main missions that in other games would defnitely be secondary.
>Missions and game itself are repetitive as hell. Catching a Pokémon for the first time is fun, catching it 5 times it's repetitive and tedious. Imagine if that's the feeling in the first walkthrough, once you replay it is even worse...

>Almost no trainer battles. There is a little amount of battles in the game and most of them versus trainers with just 1-4 pokémon. In postgame at least 5 and there is 1 hard battle with 6. just 1 in the whole game and it's postgame.

I mean, I enjoy the game, it's fun to play... But it's not the best Pokémon game at all. And I think it is far away from being GOTY... You can feel how rushed it is, and the little content it has. It turns repetitive and stretch the story to lengthen the duration. Am I just too hater??
