PLA brought up old lore about how Poke Balls work from an old 1996 guidebook / the sinnoh games. Some people are having a meltdown because in their headcanon Pokemon turned into energy or whatever as a result of the Poke Ball, when in reality the Pokemon just has the ability to shrink by itself.
