>>49431575Yeah, and if you didn't go in with 5, you are now staring down all 3 birds + tauros, exeggutor, and rhydon. All who have moves that are always super effective because they're shadow type. If you did bring a shadow, your shadow moves are not very effective (including Lugia if you planned to have it.)
Now this team is pretty weak to rock, so if you had rock slide, you'd be good, right? Well, the only rock types available are Lunatone, Nosepass, and Solrock. Lunatone doesn't even get it, and the other 2 are unlikely to outspeed. Now you could use Follow Me to redirect while you spam rock slide, but the only pokemon that have that move are the purified Electabuzz, Magmar, and Mr. Mime, and the Togepi if you kept it from Hordel.
The point is, shadow pokemon in xd were busted. If you weren't hemorrhaging items in this battle or using some of the best of the limited pool available to you, Greevil will beat your ass.
