>>49434527Yeah, about 60%-65% (I don't remember the exact percentage) of the Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl are only obtainable in the Battle Zone or through gimmicks like Pokeradar and it takes months to maximize the Dex due to honey trees, great marsh and swarms. Yet the games themselves are an annoying slog and since so many Pokemon are locked to the postgame, it feels like you encounter the same Pokemon everywhere. Platinum and BDSP both fix this problem considerably though. I've replayed Platinum thrice in the last two years, but playing Pearl after Diamond only a few months apart (Pearl in May of 2021 and Diamond in July of 2021) was an excruciating experience, to say the least. The speed really didn't help. Honestly, Colosseum seems like the most similar game to me. Only 48 Pokemon and the grinding and level curve is even worse. It's also slow, but I'm not sure if Colosseum was more slow or if DP was more slow. So yeah, it's easy for me to replay RS but very difficult to replay DP. The Unova and Hoenn games are probably the easiest for me to replay, Emerald and BW in particular are nice.
