If they nail the aesthetics, it would be an extremely comfy game in a far better region than unova or kalos.
Also the story is low key enough to work, you have your two legendaries, worshipped in the same city, your kimono girls and your canon ball maker.
Legends johto, if done well, is a literal pokemon wet dream
especially if they add kanto post game and they let you visit a few cities
