secretly it was the antithesis to the whole shrinking thing the entire time and they never bothered localizing anything about it so it flew over everyone's heads

Cool idea on paper, and an interesting way of implementing raid battles. Some of the Gigantamax Forms were solid.

I don't have much else to say about it. As a gameplay mechanic, it sucked ass compared to Megas and Z-Moves, which already had their share of flaws.

i hope they retcon gigantamaxes as megas, maybe make some sort of Max-stone that you use instead of a Mega-stone but is fundamentally identical. I didnt like megas either but at least it was better than Big pokemon

I liked it more than Megas as it was a fairly equal boost for all pokemon rather than a select few. I shares the exact same flaws since pokemon who relied on Dynamax forms are going to be left in the dust once it is gone.

I think it was handled much better than Megas when It comes to being a regional gimmik, it didn't overstay it's welcome, and didn't make certain pokemon depend on it for viability.

Was fun, literally my only complaint is the animation was too long for something you see so much even if it was nice. Also come on we couldn’t have multiple different Dynamax throws like the NPCs?

It was shit, I never felt obligated to use megas or z-moves to battle those using them (not talking about competitive). I used megas because I liked them and ignored z-moves because I just didn’t care about them. With dynamax it felt like you were obligated to pop bat fucker every signinficant battle.

It was interesting first playthrough but now I think it's kind of dumb and it wastes time. This is especially annoying if you are used to playing 4x+ speed roms. Max raid battles are absolutely mind numbing and boring. The dynamax adventure in the DLC was quite enjoyable though. I also think the gmax forms were cool looking. I would rate it above Megas and Zmoves but that's not saying much.
