clearing pptc cache is one thing you try, shader cache too if pptc alone doesn't do anything but at your own discretion since you'll have to recache shaders. if that doesn't work you can try to disable backend multithreading and/or set the resolution to native and see if that allows you to get back without a crash.

...So how exactly do we Ryujinx bros get those play record special bonuses without downloading those games? Can we not just create save folders or download the saves files like on Yuzu? And what about the pre-order bonuses?
Is the only solution downloading SwSh and BDSP?

I tried importing the save data to Yuzu, loading the game, saving there, and importing back into Ryujinx.
No dice.
I was hoping loading the data in Yuzu would set flags in the save data itself, but either those flags get set when you enter the Village, or it checks for the data at the time the Village gets loaded. Either way, loading the Village hard crashes Yuzu, so it's not doable.
You either need to download the three games and have the save data set that way, or wait until someone isolates which bytes get altered and set those in a hex editor.

Shit. Well, I can confirm having the game and just starting it is enough to get you the bonuses as it creates a basic save file. I already had Brilliant Diamond from when I was playing it on Yuzu. Since I have Ryujinx share the same games folder as Yuzu, I opened up BD on Ryujinx, got to the select language part, and closed the game. I then opened up PLA and spoke to the clothing lady at the village and she told me I had a parcel come in for me and it was the bonus for having BDSP save data. I just wonder if getting the LPLE and SwSh bonuses can be pulled off this way by just having some sort of save file without having to download those games.

The AMD issue is with the GPUs, not the CPUs. You should definitely be able to set it up if you've got a Nvidia GPU. Download the latest version of Ryujinx from their website and download Emusak, a program that easily downloads shaders for Ryujinx. Check out this and the last thread for more info.

might be the pptc cache, I think having it enabled can introduce random crashes at arbitrary points of the game, so purging the cache via right clicking the game on the list might help. other idea is disabling backend multithreading because I remember in the first days of these threads there was a perceived correlation between core count and crashing.

Im using the latest Vulcan build but for some reason when I open the game in Ryujinx its all transparent and crashes as soon as the little intro part where I name my character ends. I am on the latest AMD drivers, system version 13.2 (I tried 13.2.1 but same thing)

People are trying to play on potato machines. I remember on my old laptop ryu would only work at 15fps and crashed like crazy even when I bought 32 gb ram. I sunk a shitload of money into a new build that runs everything at like 100 fps

mostly changing the backend from opengl to vulkan, everything should be about right at default but these are my settings. only setting I'm not firm on is the memory manager mode. would be the first setting I'd tweak if the game starts crashing. resolution can be whatever you want or can handle on your system. but anything over 1x will have a pretty annoying graphic issue occur anytime ghastly comes into view.

Buy a new CPU + motherboard. Yours is just really, really old and Ryujinx is basically just bruteforcing this shit at this point. I don't know what settings can reduce CPU load. Try secondhand 11th or 10th gen assuming you know how to assemble a PC, won't cost you more than 200-300 usd/eur, your GPU is fine.

Don't get a prebuilt. Just order the parts online and reuse your GPU. Maybe get more RAM too (32GB for emulator shenanigans).

Just to be clear,the models are only invisible on vulkan. On opengl there are no issues besides the freeze you can solve with f4 and the fact that its opengl and therefore not as good.

Ok, I just did exaclty the same. Applied the values and then what should I do next?

I tried applying the values with the emulator opened, nothing happened. I tried scanning but I only get an "Scan error: controller: No Readable memory found".

The game is already running at 60 fps, I just can't get the speedhack online.

I'm stuck at entering the village after liligant, constantly crashes on 1.1.5 - 1.1.9, tried purging ppc cache etc

could a fine gentleman perhaps go past the cutscenes in the village and save at the gate before going to the next area (I can move in the village 30% of the time as long as it's not in the main road, it's just cutscenes that generally freeze it).

Yes. It already works fine. I've only had a single crash in my entire time playing on Ryujinx, and that was with an early build a week ago. 30 FPS stable, aside from a bit of stutter when there's a lot of stuff on screen.

Ryujinx works fine if you have a non-potato machine with nvidia/intel and 32gb+ ram. In fact, I've been playing 4K at 60 fps.

Emulation is always pretty ram heavy compared to running it on original hardware. I don't know how much ram it actually requires, but it runs fine for me with 32GB despite having kind of weak hardware for emulation.

Because framerate is linked to the game logic. By capping it at 60fps and using cheat engine you are just running it at 60fps and making the emulator run at half speed, which still makes it output 30fps despite reading 60fps internally duh.

Never hit pagefile and I play with the browser open, total RAM usage averages around 7.1GB. And nope, no crash so far, 20 hours in.

might be build/ettings/hardware dependent

try everything off except "ppe" and "ignore missing services", in the graphics tab 1x resolution and disable multi. Or just ignore it until you finish that area/ or only explore during day in the swamp

Don't forget ram, modern stuff won't use ddr3 dims you'll have to get ddr4. If you're going all the way to the latest hardware there's some new boards/cpu's that need ddr5, but that's crazy expensive right now and being relatively early in its adoption cycle still has some issues to iron out so stick with anon's 10th/11th gen intel suggestion or 3rd/4th gen ryzen.

For some reason, it seems not to. Either the emulator reduces its entire operation from the speedhack or the ingame engine's frame rate is linked to its logic's speed. OR the animations limit themselves to a certain frame rate.

If you record footage of the game and count the frames you can see it's still 30 FPS, I think.

I was already playing PLA with Vsync off and frames limited to 33 FPS. I saw this "hack" going around and people sharing their great results. I tried it out cause, fuck it, if it'll make the game feel even smoother, why not? rtx3080, btw. My results were in... ...My input delay went from around 33ms to around 16ms. That's it. No fluid 60 FPS glory. Just a decrease in input delay that I wouldn't even notice if it weren't for Ryujinx showing you right next to the FPS on the bottom. Applying 0.5 speed felt slightly worse than how I was already playing it at 33 FPS and 0.6 felt almost the same, but not really.

Going by that chain of threads, you mean to tell me this shit don't even work and people are just taking the long way around to get 36 FPS by using Cheat Engine instead of just limiting their fucking frames to 36 FPS begin with?? Am I missing something? What's the difference?? Does that formula even matter?? No wonder my GeForce Experience layout kept showing me 30 to 35 FPS with this method.

Ryujinx is still "the" option for the time being. Yuzu has constant freezes and crashes as they've hardly touched fixing specific things for PLA. With a 3060 Ti you should be more than fine on Ryujinx performance wise.

having an issue with latest Ryujinx build from like 2 days ago, running with AMD RX6800XT. With OpenGL, game loads in fine but like all models just do not exist, completely invisible other than terrain and trees and rocks and such. SWSH was literally functioning fully as intended (On a technical level) but had a high chance to crash at the start of cutscenes. And it took them nearly a year to get around to fixing it. And keep in mind, it's not that it was so comlicated that it took a year to fix, no, once they decided to fix it, it was fixed in about a week. They're lazy as shit and hellbent of milking every penny out of the patreons.

Beat the game and about to go for Arceus. Bonsly was the fucking last thing I needed. Only two crashes entire playthrough, plus persistent Gastly glitch and three of the caves have messed up lighting. Occasional texture bugs here and there but never anything game ruining. Generally needed two attempts at each noble as the particle effects on all their models/moves/cutscenes can get you killed until you see them once.
Ran at 4x, docked entire game through. The game is offensively ugly at native res. Ryujinx / RTX 3080 / R5 5600

No, they didn't say it, but it's what they do. They did it with Smash Ultimate, they did it with Shin Megaten 5, and they did it with BDSP too.
They closed issues saying they don't support leaks too.
I'm telling you, 12-24hs after the game comes out, they'll push all the fixes.

bruh yuzu is actually garbage. The only thing it has going for it is better performance but outside of that the devs literally lie constantly. They said smt v, pokemon sword, pokemon diamond, and many more were fully playable but in reality crashed constantly. Add on the fact they never even went back and fixed these issues. Once ryujinx gets around to getting full vulkan support yuzu will die off and thankfully will lose most of its patreon support.

You used to crash the second you started loading into galaxy headquarters or jubifile.
For a couple days now you can go into jubifie or galaxy every time. But if you move forward the game crashes. They've probably got the last crash fix loaded up and ready to put into the early access build when the game is released.It's partially wishful thinking, but also every EA updated they've pushed out this week (Which as been more rapid than months prior) has almost exclusively helped PLA perform better outside of the crashes.
