Two: it doesn’t chew with its jaws. The teeth on the jaws are all on the outside, much like crocodiles, which means that it must simply just tear apart whatever doesn’t fit in them.
Three: it doesn’t swallow with them at all. Look at the throat of the jaws. If it swallowed food through it’s jaws like you’re imagining, it would have to travel through its brain to get to its stomach. Even if it COULD chew food with those jaws, the slightest pressure on the brain can cause disastrous effects. No animal would be able to survive giving itself brain damage every time it swallows food.
What this means is that Mawile’s jaws must work similar to a venus fly trap, and it simply dissolves whatever food it has within its jaws and then absorbs the nutrients.
The only kind of people who argue that Mawile MUST have a tongue in its jaws don’t actually have any real argument, they’re just thinking with their dicks.
