Battling 10+ Magikarp in PLA is no different from walking down a bridge and fighting 7 fisherman who all use 3 Magikarp each and sometimes a Goldeen. Then at the end is a couple who double battle you with a Plusle and a Minun who just keep cheering each other. All you're missing out on is a kid yelling that you killed their dad's Rattata, that they just like cute Pokemon or that you're an asshole even though they are the one who approached you to battle. "Hahaha, guess I got dunked!"
Really missing out on how meticulously articulated those fights were.
