Did you expect snap levels of ecosystem in an "open" world? Imo it's a pipe dream, no matter how much money you throw at devs.

Have you actually played the game? There are moments like this all throughout. I forgot which area it is but the two Gabite are literally fighting each other and if you attack either of them they’ll both gang up on you

You can take your pokemon out at any point in the game. But they wont follow you around

They try do do that, this op is disingenuous. Of course they dont have the same amount of detailled animation than snap but they arent just standing there, others will run away or directly attack you or even fight each others. Enough so that you can recognize specific patterns to each species and realise theyre not just moving randomly
