Moreso in its original game but I think its also an issue for whenever it was catchable in later entries, it always comes a little too late. The Solosis line, the Gothita line, the Munna line and Sigilyph all come quite a bit before Elgyem shows up. It's too bad because I think the design is neat and it hits really hard.
