Why does Game Freak hate Bronzong so much?
>started as a decent Pokemon with only one weakness
>make steel not resist Dark and Ghost anymore
>remove abilities in PLA
>now Bronzong has 4 fucking weakenesses

It's not that they hate Brozong.
It's that they wanted to nerf Metagross after his time in the spotlight.

Because Metagross kicked so much ass from gens 5-7, they had to nerf him, and indirectly Brozong.
He was a good wall in 5, and superseded Brozong in usage, so they removed the resistances to Dark and Ghost.
Mega was so good, they had to kill it off in Gen 8.
They removed abilities because Metagross was just all around superior with Clear Body and a fat set.
