They better keep these Pokeballs in future games, mechanically or cosmetic I don't care. They're peak aesthetic.

really doubt it they may convert to the special jade colored because there's no way to get it in game and oddly enough that ball matches the color scheme for pokemon home

Sorry bro, but as >>49458450 said, every pokémon that leaves PLA and goes to HOME will have its ball replaced by that greenish ball, and every pokemon from HOME that enters PLA will also have its ball changed into the greenish one.

red is a pokeball made of ore that has the same properties as arceus' plates, i.e. the ore that makes up the known pokeuniverse. of course, they decided to turn that limited amount of ore they found into a single pokeball.

Red one is a key item. You only get one and it's used in a cutscene to catch origin forme of dialga or palkia[/spoiler:lit] depending on whether you sided with diamond clan or pearl clan.
You still get to catch the other one too and get both their origin formes, this is purely which one gets the red ball.

The catch rate is high enough already. I caught everything in a pokeball with relatively limited frustration. The only other ones you'd want are feather balls to get the flying mons who are too far away for regular ones.

Don't the apricorn balls only appear in three or four games? Besides this is Pokemon. Every cool little feature is limited to the game it's introduced (dexnav, soaring), and any time it's ever put in a future game it's neutered to shit (trainer customization, secret bases)
