for a goddamn legendary, and a story-relevant one part of a "trio" that is the direct cause of an entire game's gimmick, this thing is so god damn forgettable
I'd honestly say it's the most forgettable just because of how little impact it had despite what it should have going for it

No, the most irrelevant legends are more recent mythicals that are just made for movies and distributed as a promotion with no particular ingame lore or events around them

Zygarde wasn't hardly involved in XY, but he's talked about 10x more than this thing. Same applies to pretty much any third legendary in the "trio", if you could rly even call this thing part of a trio.

It's a big part of the narrative sure, but it isn't woven into it at all, it just ex machinas in bc there needs to be a big world-ending threat, then you catch it, the end.

are you stupid? just because theyre not shoving it down your throat doesnt mean it dosnt influence the story. the whole point of galars is that 2 heros took down the pokemon causing the darkest day. no one knows who these heros are, thats why theyre not talked about but they still influence the story. and eternatus is probably the most important mon for galar since the whole damn region runs on its dynamax energy and the regions main attraction is a result of its power. its hilarious that you mention zygarde because they did all of that and played up its importance just for it to be sleeping in a random cave, then it decides to go on a vacation to hawaii, neither times did it try to stop the world ending threat
