alpha pokemon just have a few ev boosts (the numbers from 0-10) nothing crazy especially your mons are all fully ev trained and they don't have the magical bullshit filled with might stat boost from when you first encounter them
also if you haven't cleared the game yet you're gonna want to bring along frosslass and electivire
