The combat is fine, no problem with that, although I find the button placement kind of bad.
Story is huuurgh, let me play the fucking game already.
Gameplay is mostly meh. Objectives are glorified fetch quests. I don't know about you but no, I do not enjoy collecting 25 Bidoofs. The way our character moves is pretty unsatisfying, sometimes he'll stop running when you turn for example. Watching him TRY to climb is painful, you'll see him hover over rocks sometimes. I literally levitated down a hill like this because the terrain collision was weirdly mapped.
Graphics are a joke. Within 30sc in the starting area you can make the terrain clip in and out by simply moving forward and back, it's 3DS-tier.
Would recommend only to people with a strong nostalgia link to Pokémon. Otherwise just play Monster Hunter Stories 1, it's a better game.
