>>49472021man, yall are really something. I find all of them pretty reasonable. The idea is that there are features that make a pokemon stronger or weaker, some of which can be changed and others which cannot. IV's and Nature are immutable genetics, whereas EV's can be increased through battle and growth.
Let's imagine in extremes here. If youre so concerned about maxing ur EV's like
>>49472058's game then buy protein or wtv they use idr. If you're so annoyed that ur pokemon has an immutable disadvantage, drag in ur groudon and steamroll the opposition.
Pokemon was always a game of probability, and hierarchy. There is almost always something better, but through probabilistic mechanics dependent on inputs from EVs, IVs, Nature, Level, and Base Stats, you have a chance to win.
To me, it seems that yall got a gripe on the fact that there are simply things you cannot change. But if that's true, they im sure yall hate on shit like Minimize or Critical Hits. But who complains about Crits? Or perhaps yall have some problem with inequality. But all pokemon have different base stats. So again, just use the strongest pokemon. But that's no fun. This is why FEAR was funny - it uses a shitty rat to win. Doubt normie players care bout this. Sure, bad iv's and nature might make you lose mroe often, but again, thats the dice that was rolled. The entire game is rolling dice.
Honestly, i imagine most complains are for competitive gamers and speedrunners. But even so, breeding a perfect mon is pretty fucking easy, or just hack one easy.
>>49472599 Oh they know what theyre doing. Look at shit like the Everstone. They're intentionally slowly making it easier to get perfect mon. But if they did it all in one game, then what features can they add in the next gen? Berries, Protein etc, Everstone, Destiny Knot, Mints, Bottle Caps, Ability Caps. Eventually, theyre gonna do a hidden ability capsule. They couldve done ALL this in Gen 4.
