A few years back there was a site similar to showdown where each pokemon would be given a rating based on competitive viability, and you had to build a team with a limited amount of those ratings.
I find it to be an interesting concept, because it forced you to use both shitmons and good mons together, for example you could use one uber and 5 PU tier mons if you wanted. I don't remember what the site was called and i'm 100% sure it died, but that's a format i would love to play again

Rampardos can put holes in the bulkiest pokemon with some help, the best thing Bastiodon can maybe do is a metal burst meme that will cost it 99% of it's health to kill one pokemon, why did gamefreak do this?
