Is anyone else constantly swapping in a whole new roster once your levels start going 3-5 levels over the wild encounters? Everything is actually challenging.

-Only use one pokemon at a time
-Have to fight every battle
-Play with one hand only

-Only use non-damaging attacks
-Only run level 1 magikarps

I never felt burdened by doing so since swapping them out is so easy and any wild pokemon you catch is ready to go due to lack of IVs.

Its your choice to catch a level 40 alpha and steamroll low 20 pokemon but damage is pretty overtuned in this game so you'll have a decent challenge even if you're a few levels higher.

No? I've literally had to try and keep up with the wild Pokemon because I'm a field player and prefer to fight the mons using wit. The wild Pokemon hit like trucks in this fucking game. Though I'm still on day 0 patch.

This. You can get pretty fucked up if you have a bad encounter against two or three mons, and trainers on switch in can just destroy your pokemon with agile style. Even if you want to catch a pokemon in a battle that could lead to a wipe if running away wasn't guaranteed in this game

Don't listen to them anon, rotating teams has been the intention of the devs since exp share all got introduced. Makes the game way more fun and varied I've been doing it since gen 4
