Like, it needed someone to govern and watch over the Distortion World and keep both worlds in check. Thus, Arceus created Giratina to fulfil that role. However, given how nonsensical and lonesome the Distortion World is, this sparked a rebellious flare within Giratina, craving revenge against its creator for damning it to such an existence.
...At this point, I think I may be writing my own story. So, what is the actual story between the two? Arceus doesn't appear to have a bad relationship with the other five offspring. Not even Dialga and Palkia attempting to become more like Arceus seems to have really set it off.
