Only in outbreaks and with high research levels
It’s the same as lgpe, you see the wild encounters without having to encounter them so you’re constantly rolling for shinies and you can see them

I found a random shiny krikitot and my research level for it wasn't high as far as I know, found a couple more shinies after but in outbreaks
