When someone leaked one of the game’s text files, part of it listed all the Pokemon in the game AND some Pokemon which aren’t I the game, so the DLC will probably add them.

Ohh sorry thought you meant DLC. Yeah he said gen 9 announcement this year. I think he was referring to the DLC released in April. But I think we will get an announcement of gen 9 in May-June

If we stick with the idea that clouds represent undiscovered areas, then based on where the clouds are in the finished map I'd say something Sinjoh related and the Battle Zone.
Maybe a story-based DLC with Sinjoh, then a battl-focused DLC in the Battle Zone (maybe you help build the first Battle Frontier or something).

Definitely looks like a blocked out land mass here which is interesting because I don’t know if it exists in modern sinnoh maps but yeah good line of thinking
