Spiritomb got screwed over. Swirling, shifting miasma and lights barely tethered to a rock is way too ambitious an idea for a company that struggles with graphics like Gamefreak.

It's why of all pokemon I wanna see in a hypothetical Detective Pikachu 2, it's Spiritomb. I wanna see this thing animated by people who really know what they're doing with a big budget.

I feel its more this with Spiritombs case than anything. It's design just doesn't lend well to trying to portray it well when it's in 3D, Slugma is another one that ALWAYS looks like utter shit in 3D (Would also look good in Detective Pikachu). I think the only Pokemon that got away with it was Grimer and Muk, and even then only barely.
