I haven't seen much footage in-game, but I'd like it a lot more if those white things on the side of the face were fused to the lower jaw to make a big chad chin, instead of awkwardly floating on the sides.

I have this suspicions it probably happens during some attacks, but in it's idle form it looks so stupid what a shame

I'm surprised they found a way to make Avalugg worse; always been fond of the base design but the tusks/plows on Hisuian look awful and the changes to the stats/typing are up downright worse aside from the tiny Attack buff.

It's just Game Freak being spiteful towards everyone who rightfully complained about Aurorus being Rock/Ice and almost every "defensive" Rock-type Pokemon out there being OHKO by neutral Special moves.

Hisuian Avalugg also has Strong Jaw so that's also them being spiteful towards people who want Tyrantrum to have STAB biting moves.
