>>49495199Id like this too since its annoying when you face that one E4 member who always goes “Oh well done my BOY, you’re an incredible CHILD trainer—and ay such a YOUNG age too!”
Id like to have a trainer recognize me as an adult just once kek
Plus imagine some of the kino dialogue changes GF could implement, if they cared to:
>Start of game, choose your age: Child, Teen, Adult>Preschoolers / Twins will give you gameplay hints in the early game if you’re their age>Lasses / Rich Boys have friendlier dialogue if you’re a teenager too>Evil team boss expresses disbelief if you’re a child, but simply wonders who you’re working for if you’re an adult. >Phone Number system is revamped: Usually only characters within the same age group will offer their number, with some exceptions (teachers and cops give their number to kids, black belts / crush girls treat you like an apprentice if you’re a teen, etc.)Could even do something really crazy by implementing minor diagetic difficulty adjustments:
>Choose to be a kid, the evil team feels awkward and goes a little easier on you during your first encounter, so you only fight one Admin instead of two>Choose to be a teen, difficulty is unchanged>Choose to be an adult, certain trainers use items more frequently. Evil team hits you harder in certain areasAnd if they did a “family member is relevant” thing like in RSE:
>As a child, Norman gives you an extra Potion before you depart>As a teen, he just gives some advice>As an adult, he’s actually your brother and dialogue is changed throughout the game to reflect this. These are pretty weak ideas, but just imagine the possibilities
