I've been playing PLA since Friday (~30 hours game time). I'm currently rank 8 and my pokemon are all level 60 to 70. I've only fought the first two of the 5 lords though so I don't think I'm even halfway through the game, yet I've almost maxed out my rank and pokemon levels. Is that normal?

Whenever I get to a new area I explore the entire map and catch all the pokemon before continuing with the story. I'm starting to think that's not how you're supposed to play the game though since I can easily one-shot any alpha pokemon at this point.

From what I've seen, the intention is to save it for the postgame since you are already gonna be traveling around again anyway (due to legendaries cropping up pretty mich everywhere). Basically, continuing on your current path, your postgame will be you catchong all the legendaries, doing the last boss of the game, and the getting your 100% reward. No spoilers tho.
