Catching Pokémon has been a hook since the start of the franchise. This time they give you incentive to catch multiple/battle multiple of the same Pokémon and even how you go about catching them. It’s genuinely fun since every Pokémon behaves differently

Most of those who have been playing old games for the past decade can never remember a time when Pokemon was a series known for its graphics and storyline. Most people who weren't around at the time are more focused on the new games than the old ones.

People complained about content because the game had been the same unfun shit for 20 years if youre gonna copy and paste the game then at least give me something to do. Legends is genuinely fun, so I can actually enjoy the time I spent playing the game and feel satisfied by the end. Regardless it was mostly compshitters that complained anyways, the average fan didnt care. The same compshitters are complaining now so your take is pointless
